Five Napkin Burger slides into Ollie’s on Broadway on 84th

My arteries are on notice. Andy D’Amico’s Five Napkin Burger will clone itself where Ollie’s was on Broadway at 84th, right next door to Tom Valenti’s Ouest.  How will that affect Valenti?  “It’s good for me,” says the chef.  “I can just go next door to get a great burger.”

Nice-Matin, where D’Amico first served his big fat monsters, is not that far away on Amsterdam and 79th, but there are distractions.  At the seminal Five Napkin Burger in the theater district, the cow is the focus. I usually get mine with cheddar and bacon.

I tried to reach Simon Oren, the restaurant collector behind D’Amico, Sushi Samba, Marseille, Nice-Matin, Nizza, et al for confirmation. So far no response.
